The buildings are ancient and shabby because the miserable HSE won’t invest in this great hospital. The staff are highly motivated, well trained, friendly, competent and caring. It’s a real shame that they have to work under such awful conditions but they do it cheerfully and without complaint. The care you receive here is second to none and it’s a crime that the HSE aren’t giving it the funding it needs and deserves. My son received the top class care here that the so-called centre of excellence at CUH couldn’t provide.
