Although we called this very special place "Baby Nation" its not strictly true, OOPS!

Based in Co Cork we are specialists in the supply of fabulous clothing, toys, light & decorative furnishings for babies and children up to the age of six!

We are web based & have created a website which we hope is warm, welcoming and user friendly, we offer a broad choice of beautiful products for children, many of which are "organic" or "Fair Trade" in many cases both!

As a company although we are small & family run, we keep our standards high, we aim to stock only products which are produced in an ethical way and we are both personally and as a company attempting to cause as little impact to the environment as possible!
As an example of this, where possible we use recycled packaging, we keep our power usage to the minimum when running the business & we are hoping to have a wind turbine installed late 2011 to further reduce our impact both as a business & as a family.

A little more about what we do.........

The fact is that although we do cater exceptionally well for those little ones just arrived with us in the big bustling world, particularly those that arrive a little early, we do really quite well for slightly less little ones too!

What we have done with our toys & furnishings for instance is to reflect our belief that at this age imagination is crutial to a childs development, thus by providing simple play things we not only entertain them but also stimulate their minds and thought processes which are building blocks for the future and the more advanced learning process.
We have also aimed to provide clothes suitable for all occasions and seasons clothes that children like and feel comfortable wearing. To this end we have tried to stock practical clothes that look great and wear well, clothes that live life at a child's pace and still retain they're style.

At Baby Nation we put children first and aim to make parents just as happy.
We think, judging by the great feedback we have received, that we have succeeded in doing both!
