I really like the venue and the friendly staff - though to my shame I have to admit that I've only been here when a show was on, so I never made it to the electro club downstairs (as this kind of music is only partly my cup of tea). I will however try to make this up when a DJ I like is in town.

From the minute you walk into this place, you can feel the vibe; the mellow atmosphere, the funkiness. Even the hand-painted sign above the door screams originality. The artwork is vibrant and tasteful. The first floor is a very cosy setting with table booths, and dim lit lamps. It reminds me of a New York style studio house party. The coolest thing about this place is that every area is completely different. Each section is like a different place altogether. When you walk towards the back of the building, past the bar, there is a stage through a set of doors with bands playing live music! Brilliant. Upstairs is an tiny, intimate dancefloor with a DJ, and also had a wrap-around couch complete with pillows! Strange but cool. Then as you walk downstairs, there's a dark and dingy basement scented with incense and crazy dance music which is an absolute blast if you love dancing. It's nice to have the option of different places to stay in the one place. The toilets are quite small, although kept very clean. The decor is creative and has a collage of colours and pictures, and detailed everywhere, even on the staircases. The entry charge varies depending on whatever band is playing, but regardless of the price it's an awesome place for a night out, and a very fun and unique crowd.
